Strength & Conditioning for Boxers


Boxing is a difficult sport at the best of times. In the world of modern boxing it’s not enough to simply be skilful, talented or experienced. It’s essential to support and augment those boxing abilities with “strength and conditioning” training that enhances your physical capabilities with regards to strength, dynamism and endurance. Targeting every aspect of your fitness is the key to taking yourself to the next level – Aerobic cardio, anaerobic cardio, muscular strength and muscular endurance – and often working these aspects of your fitness simultaneously; just like you would be doing in a boxing match.
